JAD announces appointment of new Chief Executive.
Chris Royden has joined the JAD management team as its new CEO. From early July, Chris will be using his expertise to drive the business forward and develop the company’s customer proposition further.
Chris has over 20 years of experience in the business technology sector having held senior roles at some of the leading telecommunication and networking companies in the industry including Cascade Communications, Tellabs Corporation, SOTAS Inc. and Corvis Corporation.
With growing integration between telecommunication and IT, JAD are looking to grow their complete business technology offerings to support businesses in the South West and beyond. With the industry knowledge of both, the current MD, Dennis Hicks and new CEO, Chris Royden, the 34 year old company has new foundations to develop an even more advanced solutions portfolio.

Dennis Hicks will be standing down as Managing Director but will resume his previous technical role of Chief Technical Officer.

OCT 09 - JAD comes to the rescue of Tamar bridge
After completing some cabling work for the Tamar Bridge earlier in the year, it was JAD they called when continuous issues arose with their online payment system.
"I just wanted to let you know how impressed I was with the service that you provided. Your response to my initial call was superb and the subsequent handling and rectification of the problem was excellent.
We were publicly under pressure due to these problems with our internet payment system and we are very grateful for this swift resolution.

FEB 09 - JAD completes Salt Quay Cabling Infrastructure
In late November 2008 JAD Integrated Services beat off stiff opposition to win a large structured cabling project for Foot Anstey Solicitors new Headquarters at Salt Quay House in the Sutton Harbour region of Plymouth. The site is situated on the waterfront of the prestigious Sutton Harbour Marina and comprises seven levels including roof terrace.
The project was worth in the region of £55,000.00 and started on the 1st of December 2008 working to a tight schedule to hand over the building on 27th February 2009, a little over 12 weeks from start to finish. The project was completed on time and to budget with no problems arising what-so-ever.
The field cabling comprised over a thousand Nexans CAT6 outlets with fibre optic, voice and CAT6 inter-floor links comprising the backbone cabling. The first floor contained the data centre for the building with separate comms cabinets being installed on the various other floors.
On completion of the project a 25 year full system warranty was provided for the installation and handed to the client.
"Just a brief note with regard to the recent work, JAD have undertaken for us at our new offices at Salt Quay House in Plymouth. I wanted to take the opportunity to express our appreciation for a job well done. Given the size of the project and the tight time-scale, all of JAD’s staff worked very hard to get the job done on time and to an excellent standard.
I am not aware of any technical issues despite there being over 1000 data points and 350 telephone points. In particular, I would like to thank David and Jeff, who frequently went beyond the remit of their own work to help with telephony issues relating to other suppliers.
I sincerely hope we can make use of JAD’s services during future projects."

JAD held an exclusive technology day at St Mellion International Hotel, Golf and Country Club on the 15th July 2008.

JAD attend Business League Exhibition - China Fleet Club, Saltash.
JAD have recently joined the Business League. With regular meetings and networking events, the League provides members with a business forum to bounce ideas and experiences with fellow business associates. The exhibition was a great platform for us to offer our experience and present our new communications division to an eager audience. We'd like to thank the League for a great day and we look forward to the next one.
